We are very proud to own and stand Fire On Bug; a 2001 chocolate palomino stallion. AQHA #4170823. Fire On Bug stands 15.1 hds and weighs 1175 lbs.
“Malone” is the product of one the most respected barrel horse breeding programs in the industry having been bred and raised by Vickie Adams of Collinsville, TX. The caliber and quality of his breeding is rare. He is double bred Flit Bar and by Vickie’s legendary barrel horse sire, Fire Water Flit. His dam is one of Vickie’s money winning barrel mares, Leetta Bug Flit who is by the renowned Shawne Bug by Lady Bugs Moon. Barrel Horse News reports that four descendants of AQHA Hall Of Fame mare, FL Lady Bug, appear on the leading barrel maternal sires’ list – two of those four are listed on Fire On Bug’s papers, Shawne Bug, and Lady Bugs Moon.
“Malone” has excellent confirmation and is built solid with good bone. His feet are hard as rocks. He is balanced and built to work. When you get on him you know you have a horse underneath you. We are currently training him and are looking forward to great things! He is following in the Flit Bar tradition with the very characteristic way of getting his hindquarters low in the ground with low flat turns. In a lifetime of riding and running barrels this is without a doubt one of the nicest, most talented colts I have ever ridden.
“Malone” is showing plenty of speed while being extremely good minded and level headed to ride. His personality is unbeatable. You can’t help but fall in love with his beauty and easy going way.
